Our trip to the Aquarium

It didn't happen! Here's the story.

They were having $1 day at all the main attractions in the city. Ryan and I told the kids we'd go to the Aquarium and they were super excited! Here's some pictures from the trip down.

We got there at 9:30 (30 min before they opened) to find the longest line EVER! We waited in line, which actually moved pretty fast. We pay for our tickets and find out that we can't get into the Aquarium till 2:15!!! What in the world could we do in the city for 4 1/2 hours in the FREEZING cold with 4 kids, including a not-so-patient 2 year old????? Well we left and went to......

The Bass Pro Shop to see Santa!!!! The kids didn't mind. Morgan and Jenna were a little bummed but we still had a great time.

No Aquarium but we still got to see fish!

Noah wasn't too thrilled with Santa but as long as Kelsey held him, he was fine.

We should've known that $6 for the whole family to go to the Aquarium was too good to be true! Maybe another time. :)

I've been a slacker

I've been slacking on updating this but I've been super busy. I'm about done my Christmas shopping which is awesome. Everythings already wrapped and ready to go.

A friend of mine, April, took pictures of my kids and I got them today. I'm soooo happy with them. Noah was not the least bit cooperative so I'm surprised she got so many good pictures. Here are some of my favorites....

Didn't they turn out great?!?!

The twins are loving basketball! They played a little scrimmage the other day and Jenna got 3 baskets and Morgan got 2. They were so excited. Morgan says it's her favorite sport and I'm really proud of how aggressive she is. She's much more aggressive than she normally is with soccer or lacrosse. This might just be her sport! Jenna's the tallest one on the team. It makes her so mad. She hates being tall. We keep telling her that you want to be the tallest one on the team but she doesn't believe us! haha

Kelsey is loving indoor soccer and lacrosse. Her soccer team is pretty good, only losing one game so far. She's scored a couple goals and is just really having a great time. She has a really nice coach and she likes playing for him. Lacrosse is a different story. She likes it....but they're playing all these really good teams (most of them are 8th graders and her team is 6th/7th graders) and they're getting their butts kicked. All the other teams have been together for a while and her team is just a bunch of girls from all over thrown onto one team. It also makes it hard because they don't practice, they only have games. She likes it alot, it's just frustrating.

That's about it for now. I have some other pictures I plan on uploading and posting soon. :)

Right when it all settles down......

Soccer and field hockey are over. Woo Hoo. No more rushing through dinner and running all over town. Well, it lasted about a week and now we're onto indoor soccer, indoor lacrosse and basketball.

The twins have never played basketball before so I'm hoping they like it. They play out front with Ryan alot, so hopefully they'll be pretty good at it. It should be fun.

Kelsey has played indoor soccer for years so this is nothing new for her. Her old coach from last year asked her to be on the team again. Karisa and a few other girls she likes are on the team, so it'll be fun!

Kels has played outdoor lacrosse for the past 6 years but this will be her first time playing indoor. Her first game is in an hour. We'll see how it goes. :)

Halloween

The kids had a blast on Halloween! Here's a picture of them all together.
Photobucket

Kelsey's friend Courtney came with us. They were both pop singers. (Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez to be exact.) Kelsey had the most hilariuos pair of fake eyelashes on. They only lasted half the night until she ripped them off because they hurt her eyes. Look at these suckers up close! haha
Photobucket

And here she is with her friend Courtney
Photobucket

Morgan was a football player. She borrowed her friend Brandon's uniform. She swears that one day she's really gonna play football on a team. The funny thing is that I can see her beating up on some boys on the football field. Gotta love my Morgan!
Photobucket

Jenna was a cheerleader. She's such a girl! She was so happy with her pig-tails and I curled her hair which she thought was the best thing ever. She looked so cute!
Photobucket

I can't believe Noah walked as far as he did! He made it all the way up to the top of my parents neighborhood and back. He was so funny. Everytime someone would put a candy in his bag he'd say thank you and then step away...take out the candy and inspect it. Half the time he'd open it, take a bite and then put it back in the bag. He was the cutest Captain Hook I'd ever seen.

Noah's preschool pictures

He was not very happy about getting his picture taken. When I went to pick him up on picture day, they told me he refused to get his picture taken and I could go with him to try and get it done. He wasn't to thrilled about it but at least we got him to look at the camera. I still think they turned out pretty cute.

And here's the class picure. Again....not so happy!

Hopefully I'll get my Halloween pictures uploaded soon to share with everyone.

They really are twins!!!

This picture cracks me up. Morgan and Jenna are so completely different in the way they look and act. Last week they decided to dress alike...which they haven't done since they were 2! They thought it was so funny. Doesn't Morgan look just like Ryan?

We took the kids on a hike down to the railroad tracks again. They love going there. Here are some pictures.

Kels and her friend Karisa.

I love these next 2 pictures. The sunset was soooo pretty that night. And I love the one of Noah sitting on Daddy's shoulder.

This past weekend I snapped this picture of Kelsey and her friend Courtney. I thought it was cute.

And here's Noah yesterday with his Halloween shirt on. They had a fall party at school so he wanted to wear his shirt. It glows in the dark and he thinks it's the coolest thing ever! He must have taken his sisters in the bathroom 15 times to show them his shirt glowing. Isn't he getting so big??? He's becoming more and more of a Mama's boy everyday!
Photobucket

And some good news. Kelsey made the All-Star team for soccer. It's the 2nd year in a row that she's made it. They all vote and pick the best 4 players from each team and then they have a final game with all the players. The best part is that her friend Karisa made it too so they'll be playing together. She's so excited. Especially since this is her last year playing soccer. She loves field hockey so much that she's gonna stick with that for now on!

Here's Kelsey playing soccer over the weekend.

The twins had their twin friends over to spend the night. They had so much fun! Don't they look alike??? I had their names down pat until they put their pj's on and then I got all confused again!
Photobucket

Here's the kids playing Tuesday night on the playground where Kelsey has field hockey practice. We took a walk down to the pond and fed the ducks too. Ryan wishes he would have had his fishing pole but he forgot it.

I took Noah and Lili to Piney Run Park this morning. Sherry went with us. It's so nice that they're at the age where they can play and you don't have to worry about chasing after them. We were there for a little over an hour and they had a blast. I need to take them more often!

It looks like he's trying to wrestle Lili to the ground but he was really giving her a great big hug!

Here's Noah helping Miss Lili get down. He's such a gentleman. (When he wants to be haha)
