pictures, pictures and more pictures

and alot of rambling too!

Noah is loving preschool! The second we pull in the parking lot he starts yelling, "Bye Mom." I'm always like, "Buddy, I gotta walk you in." Haha. He's the cutest little guy I've ever seen. He cracks me up. Here's a picture of him from yesterday. I seriously think he's gonna have his ninny (pacifier) till he's 10.

And here he is with Lili. He refused to take of the Bob-Bob (spongebob) jammies and wore them till around lunch time.

Why does he always put the hat on backwards? He's so silly.

Look what Morgan found today. I love this picture of her!

Anna came over after school today and is spending the night tonight. How cool it must be to have a cousin the same age as you. Kelsey and Anna are so close. They've never ever been in a fight and they always have each others back. Anna comes over all the time. They do homework together and just hang out. I always joke that Anna is my 5th kid. Here's a picture from earlier.

Tonight I took Kelsey, Anna, Morgan and Jenna to the Century vs. Liberty girls soccer game. All kids who wore their soccer uniform got in for free and there were a ton of kids there. We met up with Bill, Heidi, Sophie and Max.

Here they are. The girl all the way to the left is Sophie's friend.

They had alot of fun! It was a really good game and in the end Century won 2-1. It was weird being at Liberty High (where I graduated), rooting for Century. Since the girls will go to Century though, I have to root for them. It felt a bit odd sitting on the visitors side. It was fun though and I saw some of my old teachers. My old soccer coach is now the Varsity Assistant Coach at Liberty so that was pretty cool.

A funny thing happened this week. The twins have made friends with another set of twins at school. They invited them over to spend the night tomorrow night. (Just what I need....another set of twins! haha!) I asked to talk to their mom so we could set it all up. I was on the phone with her for about 10-15 minutes and somehow I mentioned that I graduated from Liberty. She said, "I did too." I asked when she graduated and she said 1995! The same year I graduated! How funny. I haven't seen her for over 13 years so it'll be nice to see her tomorrow when she drops her girls off. I thought that was pretty cool. It's such a small world.

I'm sure I'll have some more pictures to post after this weekend is over. :)

Pictures from this weekend

Kelsey had her pictures taken for field hockey and of course I had my camera with me. They turned out soooo cute with the water in the background.

Her team (although there were 4 girls missing)

I love how the photographer had them lay down on their stomach

After pictures the girls had an hour before their game started so they played on the playground. They had a blast!

Kelsey and I left her game and went straight to the twins game. They played great! Morgan got her first goal of the season!

Look who was goalie!

It rained all day Saturday. The twins soccer game was cancelled but Kelsey still played. You should have seen me and Susan (Karisa's mom) on the sidelines. We were both hunched under 1 umbrella. We got soaked! The good news is that Kelsey's team got their first win of the season! They're now 1-1-1. They were pretty excited. I wish I had some pictures.

Saturday night we went to a Vera Bradley Bingo at Century High School. There were a bunch of us that went. Jenna did so good and almost won a handful of times but never did. She had so much fun though. And then at the very end I won one of the big door prizes. It was a $76 Vera Bradley bag full of gardening stuff. YAY!

Kelsey had field hockey on Sunday. They had their first loss. The team was from Catonsville and they were really good. Some of their girls were a head taller than me! It was a tough game but Kelsey played really well. She's getting better and better each week. Her team was a little jealous of the other teams uniform. Look at those hot pink socks!

After the game we went to Piney Run Park for our annual "Dinner Club" picnic. The dinner club is a bunch of my parents friends. Every year they have a huge picnic and all the families come. It was alot of fun. Here are some pictures.

Yay Noah and Lili!

Today was the first day with no tears when I dropped them off at preschool. (Lili's the little girl I watch all week for those that don't know.) Usually Lili gets upset and then Noah gets upset seeing her cry and they both start. Today Noah went right in. He loves school but hates saying bye to Mom so his bottom lip was shaking a little bit. I carried Lili in (instead of letting her walk which I normally do) and handed her off to the teacher. No tears....they both went in. It was great.

They're so cute when I come to pick them up. They're always sitting down in a circle on their little mats singing songs. Noah just sits there...perfectly still watching the other kids. Lili gets into it. She does all the hand motions and dances around. They're so cute.

And what do I do in that 2 hours by myself? Sherry and I went to breakfast this morning. Just the 2 of us...no kids...it was strange but fun! Then we went to WalMart and Kohls. It's amazing how much you can get done when you don't have to lug the kids around. It's nice to have some adult time for that short period of time.

Sherry, if you're reading this...what are we doing tomorrow from 9:15-11:15????? :)

The girls sports this weekend

The twins had a soccer game at 8:30 am on Saturday. They did great! Their team ended up winning 6-5. Morgan was a wing the first half and defense the 2nd half. Jenna was midfield the first half and a wing the second. Poppy even came to cheer them on. Here are a few pictures.

Kelsey's soccer game was at 8:30 pm under the lights at Freedom Park. They ended up losing 0-1. Kelsey played defense the entire game (which she's not so happy about) but she did really well. It was so foggy and dark that I couldn't get any good pictures.

Here she is before the game.

And this is what the rest of the pictures look like.

Kelsey had a field hockey game on Sunday. She played so well and almost got a goal. It was so exciting to watch her. She is really loving it and you'd never know it was her first year by watching her. She's picked it up pretty quick. The ref's ended the game early because the sprinklers came on in the field so they tied 2-2.

Here she is.

My nephew Jason went with us. He didn't mind the sprinklers coming on. It was sooo hot!

The joys of getting 4 kids ready in the morning.

First of all, Kelsey and Jenna are awful in the morning. It takes them 30 minutes to get up and out of bed. They can never find anything to wear and their hair never looks perfect. There's always drama and it drives me crazy! Morgan's a morning person. She wakes right up, throws something on, brushes her hair and teeth, makes something for breakfast and plops down on the couch. Noah seems to be most like Morgan. He's happy to watch tv and lounge around.

Well this morning was another story. I was packing the girls lunches when I hear Kelsey yell, "Oh my gosh Mom, come look at Noah." I run upstairs and he's sitting there with the biggest smile on his face saying, "My eyes." Yeah...they sure looked beautiful. He got into my mascara. I can't believe he knew what to do with it.
